  • Backcountry Ranger, Alaska State Park. Performed avalanche patrol, visitor contact and park maintenance in remote parks near Kodiak Island and Talkeetna, Alaska.
  • National Museums of Kenya, Mombasa, Kenya.  Catalogued Portuguese buildings in quickly decaying historic district.
  • UNESCO/Food for the Hungry, Marsabit, Kenya.  Constructed solar-powered elephant fence to protect crops from errant local wildlife.
